On June 15, the "M·Library" project, which is jointly launched by BJMTR and the National Library, together with Office of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in Beijing, launches the 22nd themed cultural reading promoting activity. This event is to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

The summer travel season of 2022 starts from July 1 and ends on August 31, with a total of 62 days. About 66.712 million passengers are expected to travel on lines operated by BJMTR during this period.
